Increasing challenges such as drug abuse, violence, Cyber threats and anti-social activities rampant in college campuses recently is adversely affecting the students' safety, discipline, mental health and academic atmosphere of campuses. Hence, it is imperative to ensure safety of students for which College Protection Groups (CPG) in higher educational institutions should be formed to promote anti-Narcotic awareness and activities.

  • Promoting student well-being by creating a supportive framework for confidential grievance reporting and timely assistance.
  • Strengthening emergency response via a well-coordinated protocol for managing accidents, conflicts, and external threats.
  • Facilitating awareness and counselling through regular campaigns on cyber safety, substance abuse, mental health, and students' legal rights; and improving collaboration with authorities by forging a strong link between colleges, law enforcement, and local communities for efficient grievance redressal and proactive safety measures.
  • Organizing awareness sessions on topics like narcotic abuse, anti-ragging, cyber safety, gender sensitization, traffic discipline, and legal literacy.
