The Student’s Store Co-operative Society is a vital student-centered initiative operating within our institution. It promotes cooperation and self-help, while providing students with reliable, affordable academic and everyday resources through a non-profit cooperative model.

Objectives of the Society

  • Provide essential academic materials at affordable prices.
  • Ensure availability of textbooks, stationery, and study items on campus.
  • Foster values of cooperation, accountability, and self-reliance.
  • Promote transparency and ethics through cooperative practices.

Facilities and Services Offered

  • Sale of Academic Materials: Textbooks, notebooks, lab records, drawing instruments, stationery, etc.
  • College Essentials: Uniforms, ID card holders, files, exam pads, record books.
  • Photocopy and Printing Services (if applicable).
  • Affordable Pricing: Minimal margins, with surplus reinvested for student benefit.

Management Structure

The store is registered under the Co-operative Societies Act and is managed by an elected committee:

  • President: Usually the Principal or senior faculty.
  • Secretary & Treasurer: Faculty or staff handling daily operations.
  • Student Representatives: Selected to promote active student participation.

Educational and Economic Value
